The mini auction for IPL 2024 has ended on the night of 19 December. A total of 72 players were bought by 10 teams in the Coca-Cola Arena, in which Rs 230.45 crores were spent. Now the entire team seems to have changed from before, but these teams have one more chance left to make changes in their squad. Actually, the trading window is opening again. As per IPL rules, the trading window starts a month after the end of the season and remains open till a week before the auction date. The trading window allows teams to swap players or add a player in a full cash trade.

Will Rohit move to another team?
Mumbai Indians used this to bring in Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans and later made him their new captain. Due to the Lok Sabha elections, the next season of IPL will start at the end of March. This means that IPL teams have about two months left to trade players. The decision whether Rohit Sharma will remain with Mumbai Indians or play for some other team will also be taken in the meantime.
