WPL 2024 Points Table: The second edition of the Women’s Premier League 2024 begins on Friday, February 23 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
The defending champions finished second in the points table last year with 12 points from eight matches with six wins. Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, top the table with 12 points from six wins in eight matches, but their net run rate is better than Mumbai. Delhi captain Meg Lanning was also the leading run-scorer in the tournament with 345 runs in nine innings and won the WPL Orange Cap.
UP Warriors finished third with eight points from four wins from four matches and qualified for the eliminator. However, they failed to defeat Mumbai Indians and were eliminated from the tournament.
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Giants finished second-last (fourth) and last (fifth) respectively with just two wins from eight matches. Both the teams will be eager to perform better in the upcoming season.
