Pathum Nissanka created history in the first ODI being played against Afghanistan

Pathum Nissanka played an inning of 210* runs in 139 balls with the help of 20 fours and 8 sixes.

The Sri Lankan opener had completed his century in just 87 balls before his double century.

Pathum Nissanka has now become the batsman to score the first double century in ODI cricket for Sri Lanka.

This was the fourth century of Nissanka's ODI career. This was his first century with his bat against Afghanistan.
