Virat Kohli: The first match of IPL 2024 was played between KKR vs RCB on Sunday 21 April. Batting first in this match, KKR scored 226 runs losing 6 wickets. Chasing the target, Kohli and Faf du Plessis started the innings for RCB. However, Virat Kohli could not impress much and he became the victim of Harshit Rana. A heated argument between Virat Kohli and the umpire
- In the match played against KKR, Virat started the innings for RCB. Chasing the target of 227 runs, Kohli did not impress much and was out cheaply.
- However, after getting out, Kohli went and clashed with the umpire. In 2.1 overs, fast bowler Harshit Rana bowled a beamer and Kohli tried to play it in midwicket. But the ball took the upper edge of the bat and went into the air and Harshit caught it. However, during this time Virat appealed to the umpire for no ball.
- But after investigation, the umpire finally declared him out. Virat looked unhappy with the umpire’s decision and while going to the pavilion, he started abusing the umpire, the video of which is going viral on social media.
