There is a piece of surprise news coming from the Lucknow Super Giant team that they have signed Shamar Joseph as the replacement of Mark Wood in the IPL 2024. According to the sources he has joined the team on the price of 3 crores in Indian rupees.
ECB Pulls out Mark Wood
According to ESPN Cricket info England cricket board has withdrawn Mark Wood from playing IPL this year due to managing his workload with the T20 World Cup coming in June and also England is hosting Sri Lanka and West Indies test in the summer.
Meanwhile England cricket board also withdrawn Jofra Archer from playing the IPL and participating in the auction to manage the workload and to heal from his injury for the upcoming World Cup.
Shamar Joseph Joins LSG
Joseph recently made his name famous due to his excellent performance in the test against Australia and also taking the wicket of Steve Smith in the first ball of his test cricket.
Joseph has been already signed by Dubai Capitals in the ongoing International T20 League and has also signed with Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League. And now he is playing with Lucknow super joints in the IPL 2024 for 3 crores.
Apart from Shamar Joseph Lucknow has also a good fast-bowling line up with David Willey, Naveen-ul-Haq, Mohsin Khan, and Shivam Mavi.
